Leftovers & Storage
These cheesy french fries are best when served right out of the oven. You can store leftovers in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days, but the fries will lose their crispiness.
Tips & Tricks
- Place the fries in a single layer on the baking sheet so they will get crispy.
- Line the sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil to make clean up easier.
- You can also use cheese sauce in place of shredded cheese.
- You can also use different sauces for drizzling on top or dipping the fries. Some ideas include Fry sauce, Ranch dressing, Garlic sauce, Barbecue sauce, bacon aioli, Horseradish aioli, Honey mustard, spicy ketchup, etc.
- If you don’t want to make the fries in the oven, you can also use the air fryer to cook them and then top them. Learn how to make frozen french fries in the air fryer.
- This recipe is delicious with all different types of fries including crinkle cut fries, waffle fries, steak fries, curly fries, and sweet potato fries.
